Parents are kept well informed of school life through the fortnightly school newsletter and many other publications sent to homes. Parents receive invitations to the many school events, and attend Parent Information Nights and Parent Teacher Meetings. The Parents and Friends Association is a strong group within the school. Parents always play a part in developing important school documents.

The Parents and Friends Association (P&F) plays an integral part in the dynamic learning community that is Cerdon College. Parents of both current and former students meet on a regular basis and are encouraged to have an active voice in the running of the College.

The P&F body operates as a fundraising conduit via a yearly levy and this is expended to augment the educational environment for the students. This expenditure is allocated following consultation with the College, in particular the principal and members of the school executive.

Parents are also actively canvassed to attend school events such as working bees, sports carnivals, exhibitions and performance evenings. Manifest effort is made by the school to encourage parents to maintain a real presence as partners in the provision of a first-rate educational experience in the Marist tradition for their daughters.

The Cerdon College canteen is operated by two part-time canteen managers who rely greatly on volunteers from the school community including past and present, parents and grandparents.

Volunteers are always needed, so if you have a few hours spare once a month you can contact the canteen through the school office.
