POEM

This story came about whilst I was listening to the song 'Bruises' by the Plain White T's, and what is written here is what came to mind when hearing this song.

I started out by writing something very different to what this is. I wanted to toy with the ideas of loneliness and what actions it leads us too. The first instalment I wrote was a somewhat morbid piece and I didn’t happen to like the direction it was going in, I was inspired by a song I had been listening to on my Ipod “Stop and Stare” by One Republic and this is pretty much what goes on in my mind whenever I hear this song.       JoelSeth

This is one of those stories, after you read it, you will feel as if it has happened to you before or someone you know. Although it happens a lot, you’ll have to know that there are ways to stop it……Friends

Sasha Borges

Hey my name is Sasha and I am a proud member/co-founder of the writers club in Cerdon College.
My story{Undying Past}is basically about a boy running away from his mother who treated him badly.
The whole story switches between the boy’s father and the boy.

Talia Walker

Hi, everyone!  My name is Talia Walker.  Ever since I can remember I’ve loved reading and writing.  To be an author is my ultimate dream.  My first piece for the Writers' Club was inspired by my father when he called me out of the house to watch a particularly gorgeous sun shower with him.  It is a short descriptive piece and is told from the perspective of a person watching the sun shower, who is entranced by its beauty.      The Sun Shower                   Fighting Finish                                    Chester Hill High Boarding School for Orphaned Girls

Daniella De La Harpe

I’m sure you’ve all heard the children’s poem, Mary Had a Little Lamb. It’s a lovely poem really, but I think it’s time somebody gave it a little refreshing change. I, Daniella de la Harpe, have taken this challenge upon myself. I usually write short stories about real life scenarios, and I think it’s time I wrote something a little different. ENJOY!
